Building Healthy Communities

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston, a United Way-funded agency, has 10 clubs throughout the city serving approximately 14,000 children and teens ages 6-18. Recently, the clubs started offering a health education program.

Mass General's Jennifer Spina, RN, helped launch this program and has formed a valuable partnership between Mass General and our community. Her work has helped change the life of one teen in particular, Richard Garcia.
